I work at Taco Bell the people I work with are decent what I hate is how annoying corporate is for instance you have to answer a customer within this amount of time which is fine but if you are one person short it can be a nightmare to both take orders and pay customers out and get them their drinks it’s why a person who ordered one burrito can take a while. It’s a dated system and needs to change. I prefer working the line frankly especially when we have staff and it’s less stressful. Night closing is exhausting butt that’s life. I hate dealing with rude customers my advice is don’t be the person who if I ask you if an order is correct and you say yes and then get to the window and it’s not your order don’t throw a hissy fit at me read screen please. My Taco Bell is a busy store and cleaning can be tough butt needs done I have closed quite a few times and slept in for hours afterwards it’s that exhausting. If management is okay with it one 30 minute clocked out break is okay with them.

I'm near 4 years sober from hard drugs now. It's still hard as hell for me. Just taking it one day at a time. Both of my best friends died around 4 years ago, so the catalyst for wanting to change was that I didn't feel like I still was the person that they both used to love anymore. I wanted to be that person worthy of their love again. For their sake, for my sake, for my family's sake. I think I'm probably not that person again, but the current me is pretty cool too. I can't go back to how it was before, but I'm managing. I think my best friends would both be proud of me if they were here to see it. And that really matters.
